WAYTRONX RESTRUCTURES AND VERTICALLY EXPANDS ITS SALES FORCE TO ADD SIX MANUFACTURING REPRESENTATIVE ORGANIZATIONS

Continuing its move to a technology/licensing based business model, Waytronx re-organizes and verticalizes its sales force

TUALATIN, Ore. – July 15, 2009 – Waytronx, Inc. (OTCBB: WYNX), a leading provider of openly licensable advanced systems cooling solutions, announced today that it is continuing its move to a technology/licensing based business model by successfully engaging six manufacturing representative organizations with comprehensive coverage of the United States and service in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Western Canada.

As noted in its prior release regarding the appointment of Mark Adams as Vice President of World Wide Sales, Waytronx is vertically expanding its sales force from a largely in-house staff to a global sales organization. Today’s agreements include new relationships with the following organizations covering the noted regions:

  • Thorson Pacific – Northwest US and Western Canada;
  • Sales Engineering Concepts – Florida and Puerto Rico;
  • Schillinger Associates – Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Western Pennsylvania;
  • Beacon Electronics – Southeast US (New York to Mississippi – excluding Florida);
  • Electro Mark – Minnesota and the Dakotas; and,
  • TriStar Group – Texas and Mexico.

Waytronx’s President & CEO, William Clough explained, “Mark was charged with creating and managing a global sales organization within 12 months. He has largely completed that task in four months.” Clough continued, “With these rep agreements in place, Waytronx now has a sales force of 63 executives comprised of 39 Electrical Engineers and five others with engineering degrees.”

Mark Adams stated, “These manufacturing representatives have line-cards that are synergistic with Waytronx product portfolio and have lead lines including Xilinx, Texas Instruments, Broadcom, Renesas, IDT, Cypress Semiconductor, and Panasonic among others. These relationships will allow us to enter the design cycles earlier and at higher levels within the customer base.”

The agreements call for a commission based compensation structure which provides Waytronx with a greatly expanded sales force without the associated fixed costs.

“Having achieved substantial sales coverage of North America, we will now focus our attention on expansion into Europe, specifically, Germany, France, and Italy,” Clough said. “These relationships will enhance the sales cycle for our proprietary products like the C14 and AMT Encoders. We expect to see substantial results from these agreements in mid-2010,” Clough concluded.
