A Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is an electronic device designed to enable users to quickly summon help during an emergency. Individuals who are older, living alone, or managing a disability will benefit from a Medical Emergency Response System that offers 24-hour emergency monitoring.
When emergency assistance—medical, fire, or police—is required, the user activates the system by pressing the help button on the transmitter. The medical alert device, worn as a necklace or wristwatch, sends a signal to the in-home console, which automatically connects to our 24-hour emergency response center.
Trained response specialists promptly assess the situation and determine the appropriate course of action. If the user cannot be reached or the nature of the emergency cannot be confirmed, emergency service providers are immediately dispatched to the home. The response center continues to monitor and coordinate assistance until the situation is fully resolved.
